InterVarsity Christian Fellowship began in England around the late 1800's and moved across the Atlantic to Canada by the early 1900's. In the 1930's, Intervarsity reached America. IVCF/USA is an interdenominational campus ministry, active on many, many undergraduate and graduate campuses in the US. IVCF is also a member of International Fellowship of Evangelical Students, a worldwide network of 140 national Christian student movements. IVCF welcomes students from all Christian traditions, as well as those with no church affiliation.

IVCF began at Rider in 1998 and has been steadily growing ever since.
